The projection can change as new transactions arrive. It can be less useful early in the month, after an unusual purchase, or while a bank is delayed.
Why is the estimate higher than my budget?
The spending recorded so far may be running ahead of your plan. Open the category’s transactions to see whether that reflects regular spending or a one-off cost.
A projection is not a bill or a bank balance. It’s a reason to take a closer look, not a guaranteed final total.
The projection looks wrong
Check the selected month, categories, and bank-sync status. If it still seems unreasonable, email us the category and month so we can examine that example.
