Your first bank connection requests 90 days of transaction history. The import usually takes about five minutes, though some banks take longer or provide less history for certain accounts.
Why did recent purchases arrive before older ones?
Banks can send balances, recent transactions, and older history separately. An account appearing in Vylo doesn’t always mean its full import has finished.
Leave the connection in place while the import runs. Connecting the same bank again won’t speed it up and can create a second copy of an account.
Why is some history missing?
Check that the right account was selected during connection and that you’re viewing the right month. The bank may only provide posted transactions, so a purchase that is still pending may arrive later.
If the import has finished and older posted purchases are missing, email hi@myvylo.com with the bank name and missing date range.
Can I import years of records?
The bank connection doesn’t provide a complete lifetime history. If you’re moving older records from Excel or another app, contact us about importing them before preparing a file.
