The same account can appear twice when a bank is connected more than once, or when two household members each connect the same joint account.
How can I tell whether they’re duplicates?
Compare the bank, account name, and last few account digits in Accounts. Then compare recent transactions. Matching balances alone aren’t enough—a chequing account and credit card at the same bank are separate accounts.
If you share Vylo, check whether the other person connected the joint account too.
Which connection should I remove?
Keep the connection with the accounts and history you need. An institution can contain several accounts, so removing it may affect more than the duplicate.
If you’re unsure which copy to keep, email hi@myvylo.com with the bank name and the two masked account labels. We’ll help you sort it out.
